...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CDT
FOR BOTTINEAU, WESTERN MCHENRY, EASTERN RENVILLE AND SOUTHEASTERN
WARD COUNTIES...

At 1024 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 5
miles west of Sawyer to 12 miles north of Westhope, or along a line
from 13 miles southeast of Minot to 31 miles northwest of Bottineau,
moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
  Minot, Bottineau, Minot Air Force Base, Velva, Burlington, Surrey,
  Mohall, Westhope, Glenburn, Sawyer, Lansford, Granville, Upham,
  Newburg, Deering, Maxbass, Denbigh, Karlsruhe, Rice Lake and
  Souris.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
widespread damaging winds.
