NORTHWESTERN BILLINGS AND EAST CENTRAL GOLDEN VALLEY COUNTIES...

At 602 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northeast of
Medora, or 30 miles east of Beach, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Public reported quarter sized hail at the Medora campground
         at 542 pm MDT.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Medora and Rough Rider State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and has
produced large hail.
