...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM MDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN BIG HORN, SOUTHWESTERN POWDER RIVER, SOUTHERN ROSEBUD
AND NORTHEASTERN SHERIDAN COUNTIES...

At 348 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 17
miles south of Ashland to 48 miles south of Ashland, or along a line
from 39 miles south of Colstrip to 43 miles east of Sheridan, moving
east-northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Birney, Otter and Moorhead.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Report severe weather to your nearest law enforcement agency or the
National Weather Service office in Billings MT.
