  Southeastern Greene County in southwestern Illinois...
  Central Jersey County in southwestern Illinois...
  West Central Macoupin County in southwestern Illinois...

* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 550 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southwest
  of Old Kane, or 6 miles west of Jerseyville, moving northeast at 50
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Fieldon, Otterville, Jerseyville, Kane, Old Kane, Fidelity, Piasa,
  Kemper, Medora, Rockbridge, Chesterfield, Plainview and Hettick.

This includes the following State Parks...
Beaver Dam State Park.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
