* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  North Central Calhoun County in southwestern Illinois...
  West Central Greene County in southwestern Illinois...

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 527 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of
  Clarksville, or 8 miles northwest of Elsberry, moving east at 55
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Belleview, Mozier, Hamburg, Michael, Kampsville, Eldred and
  Haypress.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for a portion of
southwest Illinois.
