.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A weakening cold front will
dissipate across the far southern waters tonight. An area of low
pressure will move quickly SE across the central waters tonight,
then push inland early Thu. The associated cold front will move
S across the southern waters Thu, then move S of the area Thu
night. A ridge will build across the waters Thu night, then shift
S Fri into Fri night as a warm front moves E into the northern
waters. The high will remain nearly stationary across the
southern waters Sat through Mon night. A broad complex low
pressure system will intensify NW of the area Fri night into Sat.
A cold front associated with the low will move across the N
waters Fri night, stall Sat, then return N as a warm front later
Sat into Sat night. Another low will move N, just W of the
northern waters late Sat and Sat night while pushing a cold front
across the region through Sun. The cold front will stall across
the central and southern waters later Sun, then lift N as a warm
front Sun night. Yet another low will move N just W of the
central and northern waters Sun night and Mon, while pushing a
cold front across the area Sun night through Mon. The cold front
will stall across the central waters Mon night. Mariners should
continue monitoring the latest forecasts for a potentially
impactful low pressure system to affect the waters this weekend.
The Point Reyes NAVTEX transmitter remains in a degraded state,
