Locally dense fog, reducing visibility to one-quarter mile,
continues to linger along the Lake Superior shorelines for the
Keweenaw Bay, Portage Canal, the east half of the Keweenaw
Peninsula and immediate surrounding communities. The fog has
begun to break up but will likely dissipate around 1PM EST.

If traveling, especially on US-41 between Houghton and L'Anse,
drive at reduced speeds when encountering fog, and ensure that
your headlights are on.
