A ridge of high pressure is building over the Pacific Ocean and
slowly making its way toward the B.C. waters, reaching Bowie on
Tuesday.

A brief period of westerly gale force winds are likely to occur early
Tuesday morning through Juan de Fuca Strait as a trough departs the
region.
