...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL SAN JUAN COUNTY THROUGH
500 PM MDT...

At 429 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles southeast of Fry Canyon, or 23 miles west of Blanding, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
         outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central San Juan
County.

This includes the following highways...
 Utah 95 between mile markers 86 and 105.
 Utah 275 between mile markers 0 and 3.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
