...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CHEYENNE AND
SOUTHWESTERN RAWLINS COUNTIES IN NORTHWESTERN KANSAS THROUGH 900 AM
CDT...

At 832 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles south of Bird City, or 17 miles southeast of St. Francis,
moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
Cheyenne and southwestern Rawlins Counties in northwestern Kansas.
