...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL PERKINS AND CENTRAL
KEITH COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM MDT...

At 504 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles east of Lemoyne to 7 miles south of
Ogallala. Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ogallala, Brule, Lemoyne, Keystone, Roscoe, Kingsley Dam, and
Broganville.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 61 between mile markers 77 and 109.
 Highway 92 between mile markers 132 and 138.
 Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 116 and 136.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
southwestern Nebraska.
