...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM MAY BRING HAIL TO NORTHERN MARLBORO
COUNTY...

At 226 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles northwest of Wallace, or 9 miles north of Cheraw, moving east
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Chavistown and Wallace.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
