Light snow and flurries will continue at times as late afternoon sunshine makes an attempt peek through the overcast. At this point, probabilities across NE Montana for 1 inch of snow are mainly under 10 percent, so looking at a coating or less of additional accumulations. Surface high pressure will push south out of Canada this weekend for mostly dry weather conditions with light winds along with more pronounced sunshine at times. Beyond Sunday Night, ensembles show an unsettled pattern continuing with the next disturbance bringing in a chance for light snow into Monday. A more significant system is apparent in some of the ensemble members toward the middle of February. It is yet too soon to determine if impacts will be confined to higher terrain of western, central, and southern parts of the state, or if accumulating snow will reach the CWA of NE Montana. For now will trend pops toward NBM, while messaging that this may be the next period of interest. && .AVIATION... Expect mainly MVFR to IFR conditions due to low stratus and continuing light snow and flurries expected to gradually end tonight. Probabilities of 20 percent exist this evening for visibilities under 2 miles, but chances drop off to less than 10 percent toward Saturday morning.
