...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN GEORGETOWN...
SOUTHWESTERN HORRY...SOUTH CENTRAL MARION AND EAST CENTRAL
WILLIAMSBURG COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 527 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Dongola, or 10 miles west of Socastee, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Pawleys Island, Myrtle Beach Airport,
Springmaid Pier, Socastee, Garden City, Murrells Inlet, Burgess,
Bucksville, Bucksport, Dongola, Plantersville, Outland, Yauhannah,
Litchfield Beach, Rhems, and Waccamaw Community Hospital.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
