Subject: Probabilistic Tropical Cyclone Storm Surge (P-Surge)
Model Testing May 26, 2026

On May 26, 2026, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and
National Weather Service (NWS) Central Operations (NCO) will
conduct a Probabilistic Tropical Storm (P-Surge) model test.
The test will be conducted between 1400 and 1600 UTC and will
focus on testing dataflow and checking the inclusion of changes
for the 2026 hurricane season that were outlined in a previous
SCN:

The data from these p-surge tests will be be available on the
NOMADS and p-surge webpages as follows:
