  Pocahontas County in northwestern Iowa...
  Sac County in west central Iowa...
  Calhoun County in west central Iowa...
  Western Palo Alto County in northwestern Iowa...

* Until 915 PM CDT.

* At 818 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Holstein, or
  11 miles north of Ida Grove, moving northeast at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Emmetsburg, Sac City, Pocahontas, Rockwell City, Lake City, Manson,
  Laurens, Lake View, Odebolt, Five Island Lake, Black Hawk Lake,
  North Twin Lake, South Twin Lake, Silver Lake, Rush Lake, Wall
  Lake, Schaller, Ruthven, Pomeroy, and Fonda.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION. This storm is producing widespread
wind damage across over west central Iowa. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a
sturdy structure and stay away from windows!

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for northwestern
Iowa. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
west central Iowa.
