For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.6 inch low north of Lake Ontario will drift over
eastern New York and New England today. A 30.0 inch high will then
build from the central Great Lakes and Ohio Valley tonight to the
lower Great Lakes and Mid Atlantic Friday, then off the Carolina
coast Saturday. A 29.3 inch low over the central Plains will then
push a warm front into the lower Great Lakes Sunday and Sunday
night.
