...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL FLATHEAD COUNTY
UNTIL 245 PM MDT...

At 205 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles southwest of Whitefish, or 11 miles northwest of Kalispell,
moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Kalispell, Evergreen and Kila.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
