The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Pottawattamie County in southwestern Iowa...
  Southeastern Harrison County in southwestern Iowa...

* Until 400 PM CDT.

* At 310 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles southeast
  of Fort Calhoun, or 9 miles east of Bennington, moving northeast at
  30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northwestern Pottawattamie and southeastern Harrison Counties,
  including Persia and Hitchcock Nature Center.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 29 between mile markers 63 and 72.
 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 27 and 29.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for southwestern
Iowa...and east central Nebraska.
