* At 1217 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 15 nm northwest
  of New Buffalo, or 16 nm northwest of Michigan City, moving south
  at 10 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and small hail.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
