The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Jackson County in east central Iowa...

* Until 315 PM CDT.

* At 214 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing a tornado
  were located along a line extending from Garry Owen to Baldwin,
  moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* These dangerous storms will be near...
  Maquoketa, La Motte, Zwingle, Fulton, Hurstville, Buckhorn, Otter
  Creek, Maquoketa Caves State Park, and Ironhills around 220 PM
  CDT.
  Andrew and Cottonville around 225 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these tornadic storms include
Bellevue, Springbrook, Smiths, Spruce Creek Park, Bellevue State
Park, Green Island and Reeceville.
