The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Howard County in northeastern Iowa...
  Northern Chickasaw County in northeastern Iowa...

* Until 330 PM CDT.

* At 249 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Ionia, or 9 miles east of Charles City, moving
  northeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Jerico around 300 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include County
Roads B 33 And T 76, County Roads V 58 And A 46, New Hampton Airport,
Bassett, Schley, County Roads B 28 And V 18, and Highway 18 And
County V 18.
