The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Eastern Olmsted County in southeastern Minnesota...
  South central Wabasha County in southeastern Minnesota...

* Until 315 PM CDT.

* At 231 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Rochester,
  moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado and quarter size hail. Multiple
           tornadoes have been reported with this storm.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* The tornado will be near...
  Rochester around 235 PM CDT.
  Eyota around 240 PM CDT.
  Elgin around 245 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Chester, Predmore, County Roads 9 And 10, Carley State Park, County
Roads 137 And 136, Highway 30 And County 74, and Marion.

This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 215 and
232.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
