  Mitchell County in north central Kansas...

* Until 1145 PM CDT.

* At 1050 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Cawker City to 8 miles west of Hunter, moving
  east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated. This activity has a history of producing
           measured wind gusts of 50 to 60 MPH.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...
  Cawker City, Tipton, and Hunter around 1055 PM CDT.
  Glen Elder around 1100 PM CDT.
  Victor around 1105 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Beloit, Asherville, Scottsville and Simpson.
