* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northern Franklin County in south central Nebraska...
  Southwestern Adams County in south central Nebraska...
  Kearney County in south central Nebraska...

* Until 1030 PM CDT.

* At 1005 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hildreth, or
  16 miles east of Holdrege, moving east at 40 mph.

  THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR AXTELL, HILDRETH, MINDEN, AND
NORMAN.

  HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Automated Weather Station. Around 955 PM CDT, 80 MPH wind
           gusts were measured in Holdrege.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
           considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
           Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Minden around 1015 PM CDT.
  Norman around 1020 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION. This storm is producing
widespread wind damage. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure
and stay away from windows!

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. This storm may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.
