...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM EDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Snow accumulations between 6 and 12 inches
  expected across Northern Oneida county. In the western portion of
  the Northern Oneida forecast zone, south of Camden, 2 to 5 inches
  of snow is expected. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph will produce
  blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Northern Oneida County.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Friday evening commute. Gusty winds could bring
  down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There will be a sharp gradient of snow
  accumulation from south to north. Areas around Rome will see 1 to
  to 3 inches, while areas along the border of the county could see
  as much as 12 inches of snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
